I gathered some flowers and leaves on a chilly fall day, they were the last stalwarts in the garden, hanging in there after a light frost. I painted them over a few overcast days and was happy to catch the last bits of autumn. I hope this painting captures the colors of fall, with a hint of approaching winter.
