Prelude

Prelude, Still Life
Prelude
Prélude began as a glimmer of a notion of a nothing of a whisper of a fragment of an idea, which needed to be fed. I was gifted a violin last December and it instantly struck me that it should be hanging on an old plaster wall. Each aspect of this painting was created with oil paint even though it looks like vintage papers were used. They are simply trope l’œil.
