Oil on linen. When wandering through museum halls, I often linger to admire still lifes full of glass glittering out of the darkness. So in this composition, I chose a cognac glass and paired it with, well, cognac – as well as chocolate pralines and a sprig of eucalyptus. It reminds me of my love of the Dutch masters.
