Studio piece following a plein air version. The plein air was painted from the top floor of a parking structure - Sheriff parking only! They came out to see what I was up to, but it was a city competition so they let me stay. The PA piece won 1st Place City Scene. Later, this studio piece won the City Purchase award; they have an annual call and purchase one painting per year. That is reproduced as gifts for foreign dignitaries and Mayor's notecards.
