Painted en plein air from my front porch as I watched a lovely group of trees cut down for new construction. The orange 'tree protection area" fence intrigued me from the moment it was installed. These are the handful of "protected trees". This view, once filled with pine trees, birds and animals will be replaced with high-end townhouses. I will continue to paint the scene from many angles as the work progresses.
