Painted en plein air in under two hours, to capture the late setting sun and the very last of the fall color. I was captivated by the play of shadows on this tiny rise. With winter approaching and daylight savings time, the sun set so fast and the light changed quickly. Finished in the studio in just an hour to preserve the freshness of plein air.
