Shopping the local produce aisle for both dinner and still life inspiration led to the creation of this painting highlighting these fresh California vegetables. It seemed only appropriate amidst the rainy winter months to seek out the color and flavor. Even though it's a still life, I always want to keep it loose and energetic.
