This is a studio painting from numerous digital images and sketches done in the Palm Desert of Desert Big Horn Sheep in their natural habitat in Palm Desert, California. I got some beautiful digital images of these Big Horn Sheep as they moved around on the rocky hills above the desert floor in this area after several hours of observation.
