Seattle Hats

My work describes forgotten suburban architectural scenes executed in abstract
graphical forms. Using reference photography of intersting urban landmarks as
inspiration I create abstract color-shapes, that when combined, form realistic yet
quiet images. Texture, color-shift and painterly brush strokes are used to off-set
more flat and graphical areas of the painting. I use a limited palette, at times only
using 4 or 5 colors for the entire composition, avoiding black when possible.
