Graham's Chocolatier

From one creative to another, my heart jumped watching this Chocolatier mastering her craft. I chose to feature her through the illuminated kitchen window of Graham’s Chocolates and Ice Cream. Graham’s is just one of many beautifully decorated businesses along 3rd Street in downtown Geneva at Christmastime. I stood outside in the 35 degree temperatures, first sketching a rough composition then spent a couple hours painting most of the scene. A few finishing touches were added in my studio. I painted this scene on a panel using archival oils. It will be finished with a dark 3” frame with gold trim.
