Clouds Calling

Up the hills from my house is a unique rock formation surrounded by golden grasses and conifers. Red Rocks, as it is known, looks out over the city of Boulder CO and was a landmark for the Ute peoples. The red stone, yellow grass, blue sky. and white clouds impressed me with their beauty - a taste of Nature's eternity. This painting felt effortless, as I forgot myself and let a deeper wisdom take over the work with oils and canvas.
