I just had a long day painting outside in Grand Marais, MN. I wanted to view the golden hour and sunset so went up the rocks to see. This perfect lighting scene appeared before me. I ran to get my paints. All of this painting was painted in about an hour. Perfect lighting inspired the painting to go quickly.
