Yellowstone Standoff

Love painting the West. I’m enamored by the history of Yellowstone. I can only imagine what it must have felt like to be Thomas Moran with the Hayden Expedition, lending color and credibility to the black and white photos that were presented before Congress to help secure its place as a protected location. We are still so lucky to be benefiting by the foresight of those amazing adventures artists and photographers.
