After a trip to the botanical gardens in Sarasota, Florida, I came to see this beautiful shrub (bromeliad family of plants). The sun was casting all kinds of interesting shadows and highlights and brought out the intense color. To me, it looked passionate and if you look closely, there are two reptiles doing the mating dance. This is the largest watercolor I have made but was worthy of the large size.
