Shooting Star

This is a half shhet of pastel paper, done in studio after I returned from a two leg trip to The Panhandle of Texas. First to Lake Meredith National Recreation Center, (which is the scene that inspired this painting), and then to Palo Duro Canyon State Park. I like painting the parks, and as of earlier this year was one of 6 painters listed for Texas that are on the official Paint The Parks Website. Each of my park paintings, have 10% of sales go to the park that I painted, to help maintain them.
