Storm at Sunset

There was a day, I had attended a workshop and wanted to scout out the next day's location because I had never been there before. Everyone went to dinner, and I drove to the next day's location so i wouldn't be late the next morning and would have my barrings. However, a storm was coming right at golden hour, and instead of eatting dinner after finding the location, it turned into a photo shoot, and me going back to my hotel room and painting until after the restaurants were all closed. After painting five paintings from 4" x 6" to this 12" x 16" Skyscape, I went to go get dinner, and only found one lone fast food restaurant open. It was worth it though, because one of my other five was shown to a Texas Art Auction/Gallery owner and now has a new home!
